Day 1

Sunday, April 22nd

After private transfers to the hotel,  we will meet in the lobby of the Pas de Calais Hotel at 5 o'clock for a "welcome" glass of champagne and a walking tour of our neighborhood. We will enjoy a festive early dinner in a neighborhood restaurant.

Day 2

Monday, April 23rd

We will spend the morning in stitching class with Annie Penin, respected haute couture embroidery teacher at the Au ver a soie, a silk production company established in 1820.

Lunch will be at the iconic La Durée tea room followed by an afternoon of needlework shops and a stroll through some of the hidden passages of Paris. We will return to the hotel to freshen up before dinner on the town.

Day 3 

Tuesday, April 24th

We will have the second and final installment of the project with Annie Penin. We will have lunch at an excellent crêperie.  Then we will have a private guided tour of le Musée des Art Décoratifs and then time to peruse Le Bonheur des Dames shop and other artisian shops in the Arcades.  After a refresh at the hotel,  we will be out to dinner and enjoy a "Paris by night" tour with Vincent.

Day 4

Wednesday, April 25th

We will get an early start this morning to enjoy a private tour of the Chateau of Versailles and lunch at the gardens there. After a short ride,  we will visit the Toile de Jouy museum and make a visit to a shop specializing in toile de Jouy fabrics. We will have a short rest at the hotel and enjoy dinner in downtown Paris.

Day 5

Thursday, April 26th

In the morning we will visit the Musée de Cluny and the beloved unicorn tapestries. Vincent will give us a tour of the most beautiful stained glass in the world, St Chapelle. We will have a light lunch followed by a visit to MAISON SAJOU where Fréderique will talk us through her amazing relaunching of SAJOU, with of course, time to browe her boutique! We will then enjoy Proust's tea at the recently renovated Ritz Hotel, followed by a free evening.

Day 6

Friday, April 27th

In the morning we will visit the fashion museum, Musée Galliera followed by a visit to the venerable NOEL embroidery shop. You will see a demonstration of the technique of "pouncing" to transfer designs to fabric. We will have lunch nearby and visit the Musée des Gobelins famous for their tapestries. We will stop at Angelina's for a cup of delicious hot chocolate and to admire the beautiful "salon" on the Rue de Rivoli. We will have time to regroup at the hotel and go out to dinner.

Day 7 

Saturday, April 28th

Vincent will take us through the magnificent private- residence- turned -museum that is the Musée de Nissim de Camando. Special attention will be paid to the textiles in the home. We will visit the nearby Parc Monceau and you will have the afternoon to explore Paris on your own.  In the evening we will have an elegant farewell dinner on an exclusive "yachts de Paris" cruising the Seine.

Day 8

Sunday, April 29th

Au revoir. Enjoy you breakfast at the hotel and arranged private transfers to the airport.
