Day 1

Sunday, May 10th

Private transfers for the airport to your hotel will await you on arrival. At five o’clock we will gather for a glass of champagne in the hotel. After a walking tour of the neighborhood we will have our “welcome“ dinner at the Recamier Restaurant known for its wonderful soufflés.


Day 2

Monday, May 11th

After breakfast at the hotel, we will join Annie Penin at the Au Ver à Soie classroom for an embroidery workshop. Lunch will be at the charming La Durée Restaurant on the Champs Élysées. We will then tour of some of the covered passages of Paris. After we freshen up at the hotel, we will have a gastronomic dinner on the town!


Day 3

Tuesday, May 12th

We will have our second and final class with Annie Penin at the Au Ver à Soie facility and follow up with lunch at one of the cities best crêperies. Our afternoon activity will be a visit to the newly opened Coco Chanel exhibit at the Musée Galiera. In the early evening we will enjoy a lovely dinner while cruising the Seine.


Day 4

Wednesday, May 13th

After breakfast we will be off to Fontainebleau for our private tour of the chateau with Vincent. Many prefer Fontainebleau to Versailles as it is much less crowded and every inch as fabulous. We will ride back to Paris and enjoy a lunch/tea at one of my favorite addresses on Place Vendôme... the Ritz. You will have the rest of the afternoon and evening to explore Paris on your own or simply rest!

Day 5

Thursday, May 14th

Thursday morning will find us at the stunning St Chapelle and onto the Cluny museum which houses the iconic Unicorn Tapestries. We will have lunch in a fun French bistro near Maison SAJOU. Shopping in the afternoon will include Ultramod, the oldest notions shop in Paris, Les Brodeuses Parisiennes and SAJOU. After a short break at the hotel we will visit a button shop and have dinner in Montmartre.


Day 6

Friday, May 15th

Friday morning we will have private visits to both the Museum of Decorative Arts and the Opera Garnier. Lunch and the afternoon will be time for you on your own and we will enjoy a farewell dinner at the Michelin starred Jules Verne restaurant in the Eiffel Tower.


Day 7 

Saturday, May 16th

Au revoir. Enjoy you breakfast at the hotel and arranged private transfers to the airport.
